My career has always lived at the intersection of film, design, storytelling, and creative direction. After moving from Chicago to Los Angeles, I began working in film and television as a stand-in, and actor, & eventually a cameraman working across productions for NBC, ABC, Universal, Sony, Fox, Paramount, MGM, Netflix, Warner Bros., and others.
Whenever productions went on hiatus, I turned to graphic design to stay creatively active. What began as something to do between television seasons eventually became a second career of its own. I began developing brands, creating visual identities, designing marketing materials, and directing creative projects for companies and products across a wide range of industries. That work eventually grew into Studio 1983, allowing me to continue building brands and creative campaigns throughout the years.
For more than 15 years, I worked between film and design, bringing the storytelling, visual communication, and production experience from one world into the other. I also continued working as an actor, appearing in projects including Parenthood (NBC), Masters of Sex (Showtime), Good Girls (NBC), and other film and television productions.
Along the way, I had the opportunity to work with incredibly talented people and learn from some of the best in the business. Every project, department, and creative environment added another layer to how I approach storytelling, design, and the way visual ideas connect with an audience.
